The tension and mystery are wonderfully handled by the author, and make this is a perfect story for this box set!”

“Read an ARC of Cassidy’s Touch by Paris Brandon and loved it! This is a highly original tale that incorporates familiar character archetypes like witches, ghosts and demons, and gives the reader something fresh. The theme of the story, in the words of the protagonist, is “magic demands compensation” and the high price the character pays for using magic to save a soul infuses every page. There’s lots of mystery and suspense in this book, light sensuality in one scene, and the promise of a sequel if we’d like to read more about Cassidy and her abilities. I look forward to reading the rest of The Shadow Files collection.”

“Sometimes finding an erotic romance with anything besides lots of sex scenes strung together is tough, so I’m glad I got to read this story. It actually has a plot and a suspenseful one at that…

“The sex scenes are hot and placed in just the right spots in this story. Secondary characters add their own color too. Dialogue is snappy and the pacing fast. The author did a great job with creating three dimensional characters which you know are right for one another from the first time you meet them in this story.

“As well as the fabulous dynamics going on between the hero and heroine, there’s a great storyline involving Valentine’s job as a radio talk show host, which has led her to knowing information Jack needs. It’s tense, it’s fast-paced, and it’s a book you don’t want to miss if you enjoy biting your nails while reading. I nearly bit mine off completely. My manicurist is going to have a hard time sorting these babies out and will kick my azz!
